$445,800 Ontario Trillium Foundation Investment

The Maryvale agency was honoured to host MPP Andrew Dowie to help announce the $445,800 Grow grant from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) that was used to expand ‘Family Support’ services. The project will reduce barriers for accessing services by employing additional staff to meet youth and families in-home and in the community.

“I’m proud to see the Ontario Trillium Foundation investing directly in Maryvale’s youth mental health services here in Windsor-Essex,” said Andrew Dowie, MPP for Windsor–Tecumseh. “Programs like Maryvale’s ‘Family Support’ deliver critical care to young people and their families—meeting them where they are and when they need it most.”

“The investment of this Ontario government grant comes at a crucial time for youth mental health services,” noted Andrew Ward, Executive Director at Maryvale. “This funding allows us to grow our team and deliver unique family supports where help is often most needed, in-home. Ultimately, we will be able to serve more families, and in a timely manner, with this secured 3-year project funding.”
